The Precious Seed

Restoring the Republic is a chronicle recording the social, economic, and political decline of the nation of my birth.  That nation that possessed The Precious Seed that when jealously guarded and reverently nurtured by freemen did feed, liberate, enrich, protect, and provide for many times this nations own number without edict, mandate, or decree but solely by virtue of freemen exercising the rights endowed to them by their Creator.

These United States of America did not, nor could it have succumbed to any acts of foreign aggression or Machiavellian plots of intrigue. If any dare threaten then I say, “Let them come” so that The Precious Seed may enrich their understanding, and our fertile soil with the pools of their blood, as to the resolve of the American patriot defending his own lands when he has not been deprived of that natural right in the “interest of your safety and your protection” by those who have categorically failed to protect him, his lands, or his rights.

That which made The United States of America great among nations does not reside in edifices, like the World Trade Towers, the Pentagon, or the White House.  During the War of 1812, nearly all public buildings in Washington, D.C. were burned to the ground and we remained undaunted, suffering little more than a bruised sense of national pride.  When sufficiently annoyed, we have been known to put our own buildings to the torch as an expression of our discontent. Nor is that which made The United States of America golden tarnished by the errors of our past, such as slavery, racism, or the continuing treasons and crimes of the rogues who occupy our government’s capitol. The British occupied every American city of consequence and controlled vastly superior forces both numerically and in quality during the Revolutionary War, yet much to their consternation they were defeated because The Precious Seed cannot be conquered by force of arms, only surrendered by those who fail to comprehend its priceless value.

We have allowed ourselves the indulgence of insidious and progressive amnesia about the principles and values that embodied the sum of all virtue, every dream, and each hope that the children of God whispered into His ear since the last time we permitted the Ancient Adversary of Man to seduce our conscience with blind ambitions and corrupt our reason with madness.  The symbolism of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge has taken on concrete form in the contemporary false promises of security, safety, prosperity, protection, equality, convenience, medical care, and the countless other cradle to grave provisions for your wellbeing…all for the paltry price of relinquishing The Precious Seed.

Once more we have forgotten that man does not live by the standards of his own prerogatives, the error for which we were banished from Eden. Now, as then we must try to endure the cost of our arrogance or allow The Precious Seed and ourselves with it to be shackled into the beautifully and invitingly packaged serfdom offered by the scheming serpents who have shed their scales in favor of three piece suits.  As an alternative we can atone for our relapse and answer the clarion call of the citizen soldier to protect The Precious Seed of Liberty or perish from the face of this earth in defense of it. When the past no longer illuminates the future, the spirit walks in darkness.
